Latest Update: September 2017

(HCS) – If you believe you are not receiving communication from your child’s school, there may be one or more reasons why.

1) You must have correct information on record at your child’s school in iNow/SchoolMessenger. If you have an outdated email address and/or phone number, contact your child's school to update it.
2) Specific to email, check your spam and/or junk folders to see if an email has been directed there.  Make sure the following email addresses are added to your "Safe Senders" list:

3) If you have completed steps 1 & 2, please complete this form:
4) If you are not receiving text messages: a) your cell # must be on file at the school and b) you must subscribe texting YES  to 68453.  To stop, text STOP to the same short code number or HELP to the same shortcode for assistance.*

Please note that not every mass email or text message from Hoover City Schools will directly apply to you, your child or even your specific school.  If you unsubscribe from one email, you unsubscribe from all future HCS SchoolMessenger emails-including emails about emergency/crisis situations.  After unsubscribing, we must manually re-subscribe you at your request.  We strive to only send communication pieces that are timely and relevant.

*Unsubscribing from text (SMS) messages does not unsubscribe you from HCS emails or automated phone messages.   Msg&data rates may apply.  For help information, text HELP to 68453.  Participating carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile®, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS and other carriers.  See latest details at
